Our most recent breakthrough initiative, partnering with Mercy Foundation, is to fund and build a fully maintained designer garden flat on privately owned residential land at no upfront cost to the landowner in return for enabling Tiny Homes to facilitate secure long term accommodation for single women over 55 years of age. As an Australian first, it is hoped that the success of this project will pave the way for replication of this project on a larger scale across Australia.

This initiative has the potential to radically shift Australia’s approach to affordable housing by integrating housing seamlessly into existing communities across the nation quickly and at significant scale. Replications of this project could play an integral part in seeing Australia becoming the first nation to end homelessness by providing safe secure homes to every person in need of one.
